Advanced telemedicine and remote-monitoring equipment can securely transmit real-time health information for review by appropriately licensed independent physicians, including physicians affiliated with U.S.-based Centers of Excellence and, when permitted and appropriate, the traveler’s personal physician. These physicians can evaluate the traveler’s condition and provide medical guidance as needs arise.
